Footwear | All Buckled Up

Office Shoes £80

Here's another pair of buckled cut out boots from Office similar to the ones I previously featured (see post here). This cost me £80 which I know is quite a lot for a pair of boots (for me anyway) but for something that will last a really long time, I think it's worth the investment. Also, it's not just a one season type of shoe. It's a pair that you can wear all year round which is great in terms of cost per wear.

Unlike the other pair I got, these do not really have a heel, which is great as it isn't everyday that I'd like to walk in heels. Again, they also have silver hardware which is perfect for the way I dress. The cut out detail is also much more subtle which means it's more suitable for winter. I am hoping to style this more in the upcoming months so watch out for outfit posts! I also have a few more boots that I'll be featuring on here so I hope I'm not boring you yet with all of my footwear posts. I just thought it'll be great to share them with you guys seeing as it's getting colder now, and everyone ought to own at least one good pair of boots! x

What I Wore | Dungaree Love

(shirt - H&M, dungarees - Primark, shoes - Converse)

I love autumn but it's kinda sad how I won't be able to wear my dungarees again until next year. Or maybe I can? Aha! Anyway, I wore this a while back and paired it with an easy coral shirt from H&M along with my trustee pair of white Converse, really simple. But I wonder if I can find a way to style it for autumn/winter, or should I just wait until next year? Let me know. x

Haul | Monochrome

 Missguided leggings £9.99 | dark grey shirt £12.99 | black shirt £5.99 (sale) | shoes £26.99

Whenever I'm shopping online, I always find myself on Missguided. It's just an easy place to look for cheap, good quality items that you know are going to be on trend. Here I got some high waisted leggings, a couple of printed shirts and a pair of white boots. What I like the most about the site is not only do they keep up with all the trends, they also have a wide selection of items. It's just impossible not to find something on there that you wouldn't wanna buy. Definitely one of my most favourite places to shop online! Have you tried Missguided, what's your thoughts? x

Footwear | Cut Out Boots

Office boots £70

These boots have been featured on my blog before but I thought I'd make a post especially dedicated to them because they're so rad! Ahhh, I just love them! They were from Office and I got them for £70, which is quite a jump from what I would normally be willing to pay for any type of shoes. But I thought it was time I started to invest on shoes that were going to last me a while. Not just cheap ones that took my fancy and end up somewhere in my shoe collection, unworn and collecting dust. Plus they're real leather too, so that's not too bad considering.

I actually got them early this year, around January/February and have used them quite a lot since, particularly over the summer. I love that they're cut out boots but in a really sophisticated way. I don't know, there's something about showing off the heel of your feet that makes it look really nice when worn. I also enjoy the silver hardware as it goes a lot more with the clothes I wear. I think the metal detail around the point of the shoe is really cool too. It's kind of that cowboy look but in a nice everyday way, if you know what I mean. Ahh, they're just so pretty! I can't wait to wear them more again this season. Hee! x

Circle Lens — EOS Flower Pink

 Diameter: 14.0mm
Base Curve: 8.6mm

I've had these lenses for quite a while now and they were from an online shop called Japanese Candy. I can't  remember exactly how much they were but it wasn't at all expensive. I'd say around the £15 to £25 mark including postage and they last a pretty long time too! These are my second pair of contacts, the first one being a two-toned green which I had about 3 years ago. As you can see, the lenses have a pink floral design which surprisingly show very well even with dark eyes like mine. They are very easy to put on and comfort-wise, they're pretty okay. I can wear them for about 8 hours straight, possibly even 10 if I wanna push it.

I don't wear fashion or circle lenses on a regular basis, but I like having them anyway for days when I want to make my look that tiny bit more interesting. These lenses are lovely and I really adore them! Although sadly, I think it won't be long until I have to throw them away, as I've had them for quite a while now. I do however, have a new pair, yey! I will make a post on that one sometime soon too! x

Look Beauty Make Me Blush in Flirt

Look Beauty Make Me Blush in Flirt £8

I've had this blusher for quite a while now and I really like it! It's the Look Beauty Make Me Blush in Flirt. I originally heard about it on Lily Melrose's blog, whom can I just say is one of the most inspiring bloggers out there. I believe this used to be one of her favourite blushers and it's no surprise why.

Flirt is a dark coral type of blush with hints of shimmer running through it. Personally, I think it's the perfect mix of pink and coral. It is so pigmented, you only need the tiniest amount to get colour on your cheeks. And you can easily build it up for a stronger look, or if you've got darker skin. I also find this colour very flattering on me regardless if I'm wearing it subtly or a bit more pronounced. As for the shimmer, I find it very hard to notice once it's on the face. The lasting power is pretty good too, I only ever touch up once a day. Sometimes, not even, depending on how long my day is. I also really like the packaging. You get a grey square container inside a pink box, which I love! It has the words 'Make Me Blush' printed on it. Then you get a pretty decent sized mirror inside — perfect for touch ups! And on the pan is 8.6g of product.

It retails for around £8, which I think is very reasonable. Especially as you're getting a really good quality product that works! And if you're not one for spending that much on a blush, this product goes on sale quite often. Normally 50% off, so keep your eyes peeled! Look Beauty is available in Superdrug and online. x

What I Wore | Printed and White

(top - Zara, trousers and necklace - Primark, bag - Ebay, flats - Everything5Pounds.com)

Here's a very chilled out look I wore a while back. I'm wearing a Zara oversized shirt tucked in this printed loose trousers I got from Primark along with some simple flats. Also, to add something extra, I wore a long triangle necklace, which was also from Primark. Like I said, very chilled out, nothing too special. What I really like about it though is that I get to be comfy but still look good.

Personally, I think prints are amazing! Although for me, it's all about finding the right balance when wearing them. If it's a loud print, I always tone down on the rest of the outfit. I still accessorise but not too much. I also think about how I can compliment the print. In this instance, a white top was apparent. It didn't clash and more than anything, it helped highlight the printed trousers. I hope you like it! x
