Haul | Printed Monochrome

 Boohoo floral dress £20 | aztec print dress £20 | skirt £10 (sale) | striped leggings £15 | oriental leggings £10
Ark dress £22.99 | top £9 (sale)

A few things I got online from sites I've never really ordered from before - Boohoo and Ark, mostly dresses and a lot of monochrome! From Boohoo, I received this really gorgeous floral cut out dress which is a tad tight but seriously, it is so beautiful I couldn't send it back! The rest are all printed and monochrome. (Don't ask why, I have no idea.) First, a nice aztec print dress which almost disguises itself as a playsuit. Next is this really cool optical illusion circle skirt, love! Then I got two pairs of leggings, one in b&w stripes, the other in a nice oriental print. The only problem I had with these is that the material was very thin but nonetheless, they still look amazing! And as if I didn't already own enough aztec dresses, I ordered another one from Ark along with this grey cross sleeveless tee. It was quite a nice experience going through other online stores besides the ones I already knew. Both had great items and I saw loads that I would've probably bought if I had more money. That's two new online stores listed on my bookmarks! x

Footwear | Peep Toe Flats

Office Flats £4 (sale)

Here's a very simple black open toe pair of flats I got in an Office sale quite a while back. I've only ever worn them once but they're pretty cool. They're definitely one of those easy to go shoes you wear during lazy/running errands type of days. What I like most about them is that they're not just old boring black flats. I mean, yes they aren't super amazing but the peep toe definitely makes it more unique and offers that slight edge when you wear it. Now that's simple with a character! x

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer £4.19

Most of you would have probably already used, or at least heard about the Collection 2000 (or Collection, as they wanna be called nowadays) Lasting Perfection Concealer. After all, it is by far one of the most hyped about drugstore concealers out there and for good reasons too. One, it is absolutely affordable. Two, the coverage is amazing. And three, it really works!

I'm no expert when it comes to makeup but it doesn't take a lot for one to notice how good this product is. It covers unwanted spots very well, hides the redness where necessary and most of all conceals my dark circles. But just like every other beauty item out there, it also has its downsides. I think the most common being its tendency to get really cakey. To stop this from happening, I always set it with my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder and I also avoid applying too much. And although, I've mentioned how good the coverage is, its claim of 16-hour wear isn't exactly all that true. For me, it lasts a good 6 hours until it gradually starts to fade. At which I'd re-apply if I feel like I need to. Also, the packaging isn't the greatest but for £4.19, I'm sure it's something everyone can live with.

Overall, a really good concealer especially for starters. I would recommend this to anyone and would suggest you give it a go too if you haven't yet! x
